Mark has built two houses and renovated two houses for me. While working with Mark there have never been any problems and if I need to make changes, it’s OK. He is very easy to deal with.

Mark is always there when he says he’ll be. He’s very reliable. Mark also has very good contacts within the various trades, so he can get me better prices on materials and he passes the savings on to me. He is very fair.

Mark is one of the best builders I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve worked with a lot.

Last year I got the downstairs of my house renovated, an extension to the back of my house, a new kitchen and an attic conversion by Mark Kelly. I was extremely happy with the work carried out. I found him very helpful and he gave me some great ideas with what to do with my space. I changed my mind on a couple of things while the work was being done and he was very accommodating and made the changes no problem.

The work was carried out within budget and within the time frame I was told. Mark and his workers were very clean tidy. They turned up every day and on time. I was in work most days and the work was carried out without any issues or problems.

I would have no problem recommending Mark as I love my house since the work was done.

Mark Kelly built my house. I was very pleased with how everything turned out and their quality of workmanship. Also, their prices were very competitive.

My friend had recommended Mark to me and I am very glad she did. I had a flood at my home one of the water pipes upstairs burst when I was away for the weekend, I can’t explain the damage that was done, my home was destroyed and needed to be completely gutted and redone. I was extremely upset as I had always loved to decorate my home and to see it in state was very upsetting.

Mark took care of everything for me, he suggested that while the house was in such a bad state that if I had any changes that I wanted to make now would be the time to do that. We made a few changes to give me a better layout to my house Mark had lots of great ideas and managed to change such an upsetting experience into a positive one. He knocked down a wall between two small rooms and moved my kitchen there which gave me a bigger, brighter kitchen. My bedroom which had been at the front of the house was moved to the back of the house giving me a bigger and more private room. My bedroom became a study and TV room for my kids. My bathroom downstairs was made bigger with a new power shower. Upstairs Mark moved the tiny bathroom and made it bigger and I was able to have a shower installed in that bathroom also.

I had explained to Mark that the upstairs of my house was always cold and the boiler was always breaking down. Mark insulated the house for me I got a new condenser boiler. I got new radiators a new wood burning stove, Mark suggested this as it would cut down on the amount of oil I was using. It has cut down my fuel consumption and my new stove is a lovely feature in my sitting room it makes is so cosy. In addition to this I had the walls and ceilings in my house re-plastered, the house repainted, new floors and doors installed. I had new Velux windows installed upstairs to give more light.

Mark also decked my back garden for me which I love. In regards to Mark himself he was so helpful nothing was too much trouble, he listened to my ideas and gave me lots of ideas also. I went to Marks house to see the changes he had made there, he changed his attic into a master bedroom suite with a bathroom and walk in wardrobe, I had also wanted to see the standard of his work and this gave me the confidence to go with Mark. He is a pleasure to work with, he does what he says he will do, always to a high standard. He is punctual, good humoured and a pleasure to have around. I have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any future work.

Mark Kelly and Co. worked with us on a kitchen extension, attic conversion and refurbishment in 2009 in our family home.

They worked with confidence, expertise and experience which allowed us to join in and open up our plans and ideas. Mark and his team created a space we hadn’t seen before, within budget and ahead of time. They were thorough to the point that when Mark was passing a loose brick in the garden wall he cemented it immediately without comment, just one example of just one example of all the little extras he did as a matter of course.

We have every confidence of recommending mark and his team.

Mark Kelly was hired to extend and merge a kitchen dining room, also to build an attic room, install gable insulation and a new A rated gas boiler. Mark completed the job on time and within the agreed budget. He and his tradesmen worked cleanly and efficiently. We are delighted with the result and love our newly renovated home. Mark was a pleasure to work with and kept us informed of progress along the way. I would highly recommend him and would have no hesitation in using services at any future date.

Mark Kelly built an extension onto the back of my house for my daughter who is in a wheelchair. The whole extension needed to be wheelchair accessible and friendly. It has a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Mark found out what was needed from the council in order for us to be eligible for funding and took care of everything. Mark worked it all out for me, he was amazing. The work carried out was excellent and we couldn’t have done it without him. I would recommend him of course and if I ever need work done in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to get him again.

Name and Address with Mark

I am a widow and live alone and I am in my late sixties. Mark Kelly has recently done extensive renovations to the property next door to mine. The work lasted for several months and most of the time the upheaval of the build was very stressful. The noise and dirt at times were a lot to put up with.

To give Mark his due, he tried to make it as bearable as possible. He kept me informed from day to day as what would be happening on any given day and I have to say I found him honest, straight forward and a respectful person to deal with.

To his credit for all the inconvenience caused to me, Mark carried out some work on my home i.e. painting the front and back and getting rid of my front garden and giving me a drive in – all work that I would never have been able to afford myself as I live on a pension. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any building work.

The work Mark did was a renovation of our kitchen com dining room and sitting room downstairs. The bathroom upstairs was also completely revamped. There were absolutely no problems at all and I found Mark easy to deal with. He told me the project would take 6 to 8 weeks to complete and he finished in 7. The biggest benefit was Mark’s reliability and the trust I had in him. I travel for my job and I wasn’t going to be around for a lot of the project. I could trust him to do the work that needed to be done as if I was there every day. I knew I wouldn’t come back at the end of the week wondering what had been accomplished. Mark’s advice and suggestions about what could be done was very helpful as well. He gave me ideas I hadn’t thought of but always left the decisions up to me.
